FIPs that meet one or more of the risk criteria in the self-evaluation must complete an SRA or provide evidence of an alternative assessment, indicated here as “Required.” For all other FIPs, the risk assessment is indicated as “Not Required.” This field will also note if a FIP has been granted a 12-month extension (“Required - Extension Granted”) or has a reported incident of forced labor, human trafficking, or child labor that meets the site’s risk criteria (“Required - Reported Incident”). You can review the FIP’s self-evaluation in the Social Performance tab.

FIPs required to conduct a risk assessment have the option to complete an SRA which is reviewed and verified by FisheryProgress (denoted as “Verified SRA”), or to provide evidence of an alternative assessment (“Alternative Assessment”), which is not reviewed by FisheryProgress except to confirm that the Alternative Social Assessment and Workplan Form is complete. FisheryProgress recommends using the SRA tool as the foundation for the risk assessment. You can review the FIP’s assessment in the Social Performance tab.

This notes the due date of the FIP’s next risk assessment. FIPs required to complete a risk assessment must do so within 12 months of meeting the site’s criteria for increased risk of forced labor and human trafficking or request a 12-month extension. Thereafter, the FIP must provide updated assessments in accordance with the Human Rights and Social Responsibility Policy.
