We’re excited to share that the new FisheryProgress website is live—complete with a refreshed look and an improved user dashboard designed to make your experience more streamlined and intuitive. Below is a quick overview of the dashboard to help you fully utilize the site’s new features.
Getting Started: Logging In
To access your new dashboard, simply click “Account” in the top right corner of the website. Once you log in, you’ll be taken directly to your personalized user portal.
What You'll Find in the New Dashboard
For most users, the left-hand navigation bar will now feature five key sections:
- Home
- Templates
- Track Progress
- Engagement Opportunities
- Resources
If you're a FIP Coordinator (i.e., you have completed FisheryProgress’ FIP Implementer Orientation), you'll see an additional tab called My FIPs, where you can access and manage the FIPs you're responsible for.
Let’s walk through what each section offers:
Home
The Home tab is your central hub for notifications. Here, you’ll receive notifications about new FIPs published and other relevant reminders.
Templates
The Templates section is designed specifically for FIP users. It houses all the essential environmental and social reporting templates you’ll need to fulfill your documentation requirements. Everything is organized to help you meet your goals efficiently and confidently.
Track Progress
This exciting new feature allows you to monitor the progress of the FIPs you follow. The first option you'll see is the ability to follow more FIPs—clicking this takes you to the FIP directory where you can explore and follow more FIPs.
Below that, you’ll find a monthly snapshot summarizing updates across the FIPs you follow. Need to share or analyze the data? No problem—you can easily download it as a CSV file using the icon in the top right corner of the section.
Engagement Opportunities
We’re also particularly excited about the new Engagement Opportunities feature. This space is where FIP Coordinators can post opportunities for businesses, NGOs, and other stakeholders to get involved.
These include:
- Financial support
- Implement specific FIP action
- Join FIP
- Letter of support
- Participate in working group
- Other
Users interested in getting involved can browse opportunities and click descriptions to learn more. We hope that this feature encourages more industry involvement with the FIPs they source from, leading to continuous improvement with the FIP and stronger relationships between the fishery and its stakeholders.
Resources
Previously, many of our resources were scattered across the public pages of the site. Now, we’ve consolidated them in one easy-to-navigate section within the dashboard. Here, both FIP and business users will find helpful tools, guidance documents, and more—organized by category for quick access.
We’ll be adding new resources regularly, so make sure to check back often.
Welcome to a More Connected Experience
Whether you're managing a FIP, supporting sustainable fisheries through your business, or just staying informed, the new FisheryProgress dashboard is built to help you engage more meaningfully and efficiently. Log in today and take a look around –– we think you’ll like what you see.
