Terms of Use

FisheryProgress wants all users of the site to have a valuable and positive experience. To that end, we ask all FisheryProgress users to comply with the following terms of use.

Terms of Use

FisheryProgress site users will:

  • Communicate in a respectful and professional way. Site users should be respectful and courteous when communicating with FishChoice staff. Abusive tone or language, either via email or during phone calls, will not be tolerated.
  • Use appropriate means of communication. While FishChoice staff does its best to accommodate the wide range of FisheryProgress users and their respective time zones and favored modes of communication, we ask site users to respect our communication policies below.
    • Business hours: FishChoice staff maintain regular business hours of 9am-5pm U.S. Pacific Time. FisheryProgress users should limit calls to those hours. If a user needs to speak outside of these hours, he or she can email the reviewers to discuss scheduling a call outside of their regular hours.
    • Means of communication: Users should only contact FishChoice staff using their FishChoice email or Skype username. Outreach through other means of communication (e.g., social media channels, text messages, WhatsApp) will not receive responses.
    • Response time: FishChoice staff aim to reply to all emails within three days.
  • Become familiar with FisheryProgress’ review process and policies. FishChoice has outlined the process for reviewing site material, and the expected turnaround time, in the FisheryProgress FIP review guidelines. FisheryProgress users should reference the guidelines for details on the expected timelines and other questions before reaching out to FishChoice staff.
